Maureen joined Salford Law School in 2008, after completing her LLM at King’s College London. She had previously practiced as a solicitor, mainly in family and child law, and in immigration law. Maureen became the School’s Pro-bono

Co-ordinator in 2010, and took the lead in establishing a pilot Streetlaw programme. The Streetlaw programme has now been incorporated into the Communication Skills module. Maureen is the School’s year two tutor.

LLB - Module leader for Family Law (year 2) and Criminal Justice (year 3). Contributes to the teaching of Communication Skills (year 2) and Human Rights Law (year 3). Supervises student dissertations (year 3).

MA in Social Work Studies – Teaches the module ‘A Framework for Practice: Social Work Law’
