Law Futures event

Law Futures event at the University of Salford, Manchester
Salford Law School’s Law Futures event, organised in conjunction with the Student Life Directorate, took place on Wednesday 28 November.

Law Futures is a fair where students can discuss their future options with representatives from a number of the region’s post-qualifying trainers, and law firms such as Pannone and Kenworthy’s.

The event also included a range of special sessions to help students decide on the path they wanted their future career to take. Sessions included:

  • A Law Employer panel, where students heard a group of career professionals talk about their career paths and offer tips and advice about working in the sector;
  • A session on applying for the LPC and BPTC, where staff from Manchester Metropolitan University (BPTC) and BPP (LPC) talked through the application process for these courses;
  • Which LPC?, where a number of LPC providers gave short presentations on their LPC courses and answered questions from students.

Feedback from both students and employers about the event was very positive.
