This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious graduate to work with one of the UK’s leading independent communications business specialists. Established in 1976 as a Motorola two-way radio repair and servicing specialist, Pennine Telecom now supply, install & maintain telecommunication, radio and data solutions to businesses in all sectors across the UK.
The Pennine Group is unique, having an extensive portfolio of telephony, wireless, data, network services and radio communications. The challenge with such a diverse product range is driving marketing to each product set. A digital marketing strategy will therefore allow the company to cross sell products to existing customers as well as attracting new customers.
The successful candidate will undertake a 2-year collaborative project; primarily based in Bury, Lancashire you will be instrumental in the alteration of business practice within the company and be responsible for the technology and knowledge transfer of these digital tools. You will also receive extensive practical and formal training, gain highly desirable specialist performance management skills, broaden knowledge and expertise within an industrially relevant project, and gain valuable experience from commercial and academic mentors. You will benefit from a Personal Development Budget of £4,000 and will have the opportunity to register free of charge for a postgraduate research qualification.
Skills required: Candidates should possess an Honours degree in Business Information Technology/Media Technology/TV or Video Production or a strongly related field. You should be self-motivated with an ability to work independently and to tight deadlines within a dynamic and team environment. In addition, s/he must have previous marketing experience of working within a business or media environment. Technical experience of software development and the social nuances of their development and implementation would be useful. Experience of training delivery and project management skills would also be desirable.

Procurement System Development - KTP Associate

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Construction, Management or Information Systems graduate to fast-track their career development as a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate in a dynamic construction procurement role within the social housing sector from both the client and the delivery side. The project will provide opportunity for the successful candidate to be responsible for system development as well as ensuring the system becomes an embedded part of the companies’ supply chain management offering.
The successful candidate will undertake a 27 month collaborative project between Procure Plus Ltd, a not for commercial profit regeneration company, and the University of Salford (School of Built Environment). The post will be based in Trafford, Greater Manchester and the post holder will take a leading role in the development of an active framework management tool to support and evidence performance management and continuous improvement for SME (small to medium sized enterprises) contractors and clients.
The successful candidate will receive extensive practical and formal training, gain highly desirable specialist business skills, broaden knowledge and expertise within an industrially relevant project, and gain valuable experience from commercial and academic mentors. The KTP Associate will benefit from a Personal Development Budget of £4,500 and will have the opportunity to register free of charge for a postgraduate research qualification.
Skills required: Candidates should possess (or be near completion of) an Honours degree in Construction, Management or Information Systems related discipline to at 1st or 2.1 standards. The successful candidate should be self-motivated with an ability to work independently and to tight deadlines within a dynamic and small team environment. Team working and flexibility will be a key requirement.
