We currently have over 50 Sri Lankan students with us here at the University on both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Our representatives visit locations around Sri Lanka regularly, and we also have a network of local representatives who can help you find out about applying to Salford.
If you’ll need financial help to study abroad, we offer scholarships and bursaries worth up to £5,000. These include our Vice Chancellor’s Scholarships and several course-specific bursaries.

The University welcomes candidates with Sri Lankan O/A Levels, as well as London O/A Levels. The University also accepts a range of alternative reputable qualifications, such as IB, HND etc.
Normally, at least 55% at Bachelor Special degree level (4 years) when awarded by reputable universities. High calibre students are particularly encouraged to apply.
Students who have studied for the three year Bachelor General degree may be considered where they have obtained high grades (above 80%). Applicants with lower grades but with additional work experience and/or qualifications may also be considered.
