Intelligence, Terrorism and Security
Intelligence, terrorism and security issues have become increasingly prominent in public debates since the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001 and 7 July 2005, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The increasing availability of archival intelligence material in the public domain means that it is also possible to discuss these issues historically. Equipped with the ability to make sense of the constant evolution of terrorist and security threats and the role which intelligence agencies can play in addressing them, our graduates pursue successful careers in the police, armed forces, intelligence services, academia, high-tech companies and international organisations.
