Training in Kurdistan

The Director is current in discussions with Dr Khasraw, Head of General Security for the Kurdistan region of Iraq and the National Offender Management Service (NOMS).

The discussion are  with regard to the possible development of a 'Training for Trainers' course, in Kurdistan, where training provision for detainee staff is very limited.

The hope is that NOMS will arrange for the delivery of training by specialist within the Prison Service in Kurdistan itself.
