Chris Sheffield awarded an Honorary Doctorate

We are delighted to announce that Chris Sheffield OBE, our Senior Advisor for Prisons, was recently awarded an Honorary Doctorate from Salford University.

Chris was awarded Doctor of Letters honoris causa for his contribution to the University's Criminology Programme, for his ongoing support to the University's Centre for Prison Studies, and for his work in the field of penal reform.
