Our key local partner is HMP Manchester, which is governed by Mr. Richard Vince. We are delighted that the former Governor of Manchester Prison, Mr. Chris Sheffield OBE, recently agreed to take on the role of Honorary Fellow in Criminology. He is also the Centre's Senior Advisor on prisons.
Our membership includes individuals from a range of institutions and agencies, including: The Prisons and Probations Ombudsman for England and Wales; The Director of the High Security Directorate; HM Prison Service of England and Wales; Salford Youth Offending Service; HM Inspectorate of Probation; the Irish Prison Service, the Romanian Prison Service and City University, Hong Kong
The Director of the Centre, Dr. Elaine Crawley, will be happy to discuss your research ideas with you.
