Beyond Youth Custody: new initiatives in resettlement

The Centre is working with a consortium of partners, including Nacro, to capture innovative community youth justice projects from across England and Wales.

The five-year initiative is sponsored by the Big Lottery Fund, and aims to inform policy and practice in resettlement of young offenders after custody by capturing what works in different models of voluntary sector support.

It asks what the essential ingredients are to effective resettlement projects and aims to learn lessons for policy from the ground up.
