Long Nineteenth Century Literature and Culture
The Long Nineteenth Century Literature and Culture Cluster was created in 2009, and is headed up by Dr Susan Oliver. Visiting speakers and cluster members will present their work at research seminars throughout the year, and all staff as well as postgraduate students are warmly invited to attend those events. The cluster has four main areas of interest defined by period (Romantic, Early and Mid Victorian, late Victorian, and fin de Siècle) and a thematic focus on literature as cultural production. We promote and encourage interdisciplinary enquiry.
