As Associate Dean (Academic) in the College of Arts and Social Sciences I lead a team that supports schools in relation to learning and teaching, including academic aspects of key areas such as student satisfaction, retention, partnerships and curriculum development.

My current teaching centres on Spanish-English translation including the supervision of final-year undergraduate and Masters translation projects.

I am co-author (with Amélia Hutchinson) of Portuguese: An Essential Grammar (Routeldge) now in its second, revised edition.
