Short Courses

In addition to our wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, the School runs a number of short courses for a variety of audiences.

Modern languages

University-wide Language Programme - Credit-bearing language modules available on some undergraduate and to all postgraduate research students.

English as a foreign language

English Language Programmes, run by the University’s English Language Centre, take place all year round for international students wishing to improve their English. They are designed to improve skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking and will help you with grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

Translation and interpreting

In addition to our undergraduate and postgraduate courses in translation and interpreting, wwe also offer a range of short courses (continuing professional development) aimed at practicing or aspiring translators and/or interpreters, freelancers and companies.
