Business
The School of Humanities, Languages & Social Sciences has expertise in a wide variety of areas that would be of benefit to the continuing professional development of those working in the public and private sectors, as well as to individuals looking to widen their skills. We can design bespoke training courses on a one or two day block-release basis or over a longer period of time, dependent on need.
The following are some of the areas in which we specialise, but is not an exhaustive list:
- Translation and Interpreting
- Audio-Visual transcription
- Creative Writing (for adults or secondary school)
- Policing and Communities
- Criminal Justice policy
- International Relations and Politics
- Community/Micro Finance
In addition, many of our taught postgraduate courses are available as stand-alone master-classes, which anyone can attend for a small fee.
For further information on the above, please contact the Associate Head of School for Engagement, Dr Megan O’Neill.
