RSS feeds

RSS allows you to see when a news item has been added to our site, giving you quick and easy access to our latest headlines. Our available RSS feeds are listed below:

How to use our news feed

You will need a news reader - a piece of software that checks RSS feeds and lets you read any new articles that have been added to them. For an extensive list of news readers, please see the Google directory listing.

Many current email clients and web browsers already have built-in support for RSS feeds - for instance, see Opera MailMozilla Thunderbird and Mozilla Firefox.

Using our RSS news feeds on your site

If you run your own website, you are free to use the University of Salford RSS feeds to display our headlines on your site (generally referred to as aggregation), as long as proper attribution is given.
