The government is committed to achieving three million apprenticeship starts by summer 2020. To fund the increase in apprenticeships, the government is introducing an apprenticeship levy from April 2017.
Employers with pay bills of over £3 million, will be required to pay a levy which can only be reclaimed to fund Apprenticeship training.
