Biography
After more than a decade in clinical radiography Fred moved into education in 1996 at the University of Bangor. He was awarded his PhD in 2004 and shortly after he moved to New Zealand to become the Postgraduate Course Director. During this time he developed and delivered the first image interpretation course in the country. He returned to Salford in 2008 to join the team in the Directorate of Radiography. He currently teaches across both the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. In addition he supports the first year students as Year One manager.
