Biography

Following a degree in Occupational Therapy (hons) (University of Salford, 2008), I completed a PhD in Epidemiology at the Arthritis Research UK Primary Care Centre at Keele University (2012). I joined the Health Sciences Research unit at the University of Salford in October 2011 as a Research Assistant to Professor Alison Hammond to help in delivering projects such as a pilot clinical trial for work rehabilitation in those with inflammatory arthritis funded by ARUK (WORK-IA) and the development of the UK Version of the Evaluation of Daily Activities Questionnaire (EDAQ) for those with musculoskeletal conditions. In 2013 we have started to undertake new projects such as the psychometric testing of the Valued Life Activities Scale (VLAS) and Measure of Activity Performance in the Hand (MAP-HAND) in people with RA in the UK, in which I work as the study coordinator.
