Biography
Dr Peter Eachus is Director of Psychology and Public Health within the School of Health Sciences. He is is a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society, a Chartered Scientist and Internet Editor for the journal Health Education. Peter holds a BSc (Hons) Psychology, MSc, PhD, PGCE, AIHE. Peter has taught Psychology at every level from A level through to Masters and PhD supervision.
Teaching
Peter contributes to a range of modules on our undergraduate courses including Psychology in Contemporary Contexts, Forensic Psychology and the final year Dissertation.
Research Interests
His main research interests include the role of self-efficacy in the use of computers and the Internet; psychotourism, personality and vacation preferences; and the application of psychology in the understanding and prevention of terrorist’s activities.
Qualifications and Memberships
Peter holds a BSc (Hons) Psychology, MSc, PhD, PGCE, AIHE.
He is a Chartered Psychologist and a Chartered Scientist.
