I am a Senior Lecturer in Radiography in the Directorate of Radiography at the University of Salford, Manchester, UK. My work focuses upon radiography education and research into digital radiography and mammography. I have trained an increasing number of diagnostic radiography students over the years and I lecture nationally and internationally on a broad spectrum topics.  I have held several research grants funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and industry.  I sit on a National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) Technology Appraisal committee and I am an External Examiner at a number of universities (UK and international). 


My teaching focuses on research methods, digital radiography and computed tomography (CT); specifically focusing on imaging of the cardiovascular system.

Research Interests

My research interests include digital radiography, specifically around dose optimisation and mammography and CT related dosimetry. I also have research interests relating to the endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms (EVAR and EVAS).
