What are the arrangements for mentors/assessors?

  • Team mentorship is in place.
  • Mentors allocated prior to students first day.

  • All students will work alongside Specialist Urology Nurse or Nurse Consultant

What shift patterns are students allocated for learning?




Shift Notes:

08:00 - 16:30 Monday - Thursday and 08:00 - 13:30 Fridays

or choice of hours over 4-day working week.  Please remember that the NMC requires students to be directly or indirectly supervised by their mentor for 40% of time on placement so at least 2 days per week must be the same shift as your mentor (excepting annual leave or sickness, or any other unavoidable circumstance)
