Reassessments and Academic Appeals

You should read this information carefully if one of the following applies to you:

A. You have been awarded a qualification
AND
You have been awarded compensation (i.e. given the credits) for a failed module and wish to be reassessed for a capped mark

OR

B. You have been awarded a qualification
AND
You have submitted an academic appeal and it has not yet been concluded

If any of these apply to you, you may still attend the Graduation ceremony as planned and with the qualification currently awarded but you should not collect your certificate on the day. This will be sent to you after your appeal or reassessment has been concluded.

If you believe you have grounds for an academic appeal you must inform Governance Services (the Academic Appeals Proforma available here ) within 10 working days of the publication of your results.

For more information please contact your School Office or the Students’ Union.
