Salford Circle

The University recognises leadership donations of £1,000 and above by welcoming donors into the Salford Circle.

Circle donors have a huge impact on the work we do here at Salford.

Donations to the circle can be directed to a priority area of your choice, or to where the need is greatest.

All alumni and friends of the University are able to join the Salford Circle and, as a result, increase their engagement and input into the future life of the University.

As a way of recognising the exceptional support given by Salford Circle donors, members receive:

  • The opportunity to name a seat in the Chapman Lecture Theatre
  • Invitations to donor events
  • An annual Salford Circle thank you event and networking opportunities.
  • Tailored communications on the impact of your gift
  • Opportunities to build relationships with other Circle members and senior staff

Named Scholarships

Supporters giving gifts of £3,000 per year are invited to name a scholarship. In recognition of your gift we will name the award in your honour, and you will meet the recipient and receive personal updates about the impact of your gift.

For further information about leadership giving, or to discuss naming a scholarship and enabling a talented student to attend University, please contact Claire Green via c.l.green@salford.ac.uk or +44 (0)161 295 3432.

Help fund the future

Our 50th anniversary also presents a unique opportunity for your donation to be matched by our Jubilee Fund. In our ambition to award 67 new scholarships and bursaries to commemorate the year 1967, when the University of Salford received the Royal Charter, we will match any new regular gift or single gift up to £3,000 and any gift between £3,000 and £30,000 in support of scholarships and bursaries.
