Major gifts can establish scholarships, support ground-breaking research, provide state-of-the-art equipment and laboratory spaces or help to take a program to the next level.
Some of our donors are able to make larger gifts (over £1,000) in support of the University. Giving at this level can have a truly transformational impact on the University community.
For these larger gifts, donors may choose to direct their gift towards a particular program or to establish a scholarship program naming an area of interest. We can recognise this type of giving by naming a scholarship in line with the donor’s wishes.
If you would like to discuss making a major gift to the University please contact Rachel Tomlins on firstname.lastname@example.org or on +44 (0)161 295 5292.
Our 50th anniversary also presents a unique opportunity for your donation to be matched by our Jubilee Fund. In our ambition to award 67 new scholarships and bursaries to commemorate the year 1967, when the University of Salford received the Royal Charter, we will match any new regular gift or single gift up to £3,000 and any gift between £3,000 and £30,000 in support of scholarships and bursaries.
