Breakfast briefing

As part of National Apprenticeship Week, join us on Friday 10 March to find out more about how degree apprenticeships at the University of Salford can work for your business.

The government has announced its ambition to create 3 million apprenticeship opportunities by 2020, which will be funded in part by employers via the new apprenticeship levy. The levy will be charged at 0.5% of the annual pay bill for companies paying over £3 million per year.

In preparation for the apprenticeship reforms, the University of Salford has been working with employers to develop a range of degree apprenticeship programmes designed to meet the high level skill needs of businesses.

Building on the success of its Chartered Surveying Degree Apprenticeship, the University of Salford is already working with employers to expand its degree apprenticeship offer for September 2017 to include degree apprenticeships in Health, Construction Site Management, Leadership & Management, Digital and Engineering.
