International Research Conference (11-12 September)
In co-operation with the International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction (CIB), this conference promises a large gathering of key international players and speakers from industry, academia and the research community, forming an important networking point for all participants.
Industry Days (13-14 September)
In collaboration with the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, there will be two themed days focusing on a wide range of stakeholders and organisations in the construction industry.
13th International Postgraduate Research Conference in the Built Environment (14–15 September)
This is the 13th holding of this internationally renowned peer-reviewed conference dedicated to postgraduate research in the built environment. Led by key academics, there will be opportunities to enhance and develop research skills, and to network and exchange research ideas in a supportive environment. The conference will provide a forum for novel discussions into the development and application of new and emerging practices to challenge current design and construction practice in the areas of people, process and technology issues.
Workshops (throughout the week)
There will be two workshops running throughout the week: A one day Doctoral Workshop sponsored by the Association of Researchers in Construction Management (ARCOM), with a particular focus on promoting and meeting the challenges of an ageing society; and, the 2nd International Workshop MAPS LED, which will run across three days, with a focus on how Smart Specialization Strategies can be translated into spatially-oriented local development.
