Yes, if there is still time available on the tariff you selected. Please note however that if you park on one of the peripheral car parks you cannot move onto main campus.

Reporting a Fault/Problem

You can log a fault directly onto our Facilities Management Database via https://cafm.salford.ac.uk/cafmnet

The helpdesk is open as follows:

  • Monday to Friday: 8.00am to 5.00pm

Once full details of your request/job are entered onto our Facilities Management Database, directly or via our Helpdesk Operator, you will receive a unique number by e-mail confirming your request.  

If you have any enquiries concerning progress of your job, please log on to the online system or please quote your reference number to the helpdesk on 54444.

Furniture - Moving & Disposals

You can log a job with the helpdesk or speak directly to your Building Manager.

Please look on WARP-IT (Waste Action Reuse Portal) in the first instance as there may be suitable furniture on here. WARP-IT is a redistribution network, which works in a similar way to Ebay or Freecycle but for organisations rather than individuals, find out more here

If there is nothing suitable please contact Procurement.

You can make a request with IT Services here or by ringing 52444.

Please see your Finance Officer to raise a purchase order with Estates & Facilities for confidential waste bags (Cost Centre WBDA43 8835). The cost of 5 bags and service is £12.00
