Marie Curie Fellowships
The School of Environment & Life Science aims to expand its involvement with international research mobility through the support of prospective Marie Curie Fellowship applicants.
The School is organised into two Research Centres, focusing on Biomedical and Ecosystems and Environment research. The University has an excellent track-record in attracting FP7 funds, with 100% success in Marie Curie applications in 2012. The College Research & Innovation team will provide excellent assistance during the preparation of applications.
The current call can be found at: http://ec.europa.eu/research/mariecurieactions and applicants can either be Europeans applying for Intra-European (IEF) or International Outgoing (IOF) Fellowships, or non-Europeans applying for International Incoming Fellowships (IIF).
In the first instance, interested prospective applicants of appropriate career stage, and with adequate publication record, are welcome to browse our academic staff profiles to identify potential mentors and discuss research ideas.
Deadline for the Marie Curie fellowship scheme is 14 August, but it is desirable to have a complete draft by the end of July due to admin processing time. We encourage prospective applicants to start liaising with their chosen mentors around April/May.
