Level 7 (30 credits) Writing Workshop - single module

Creative work will be submitted to the group and the tutor two days before the weekly workshop. Everyone is expected to make detailed preparation for the workshops including reading and annotating the creative material. A group workshop contract will be generated by the students and the tutor at the beginning to agree ways of working, frequency of submissions, style of feedback etc.
Assessment
The module has two pieces of assessment:
A piece of creative work (e.g. 6,000 word prose, c.20 poems, a 1 hour script or equivalent work in hybrid or cross-generic forms) worth 80% of the mark and a 1,000 word piece of reflective writing worth 20% of the mark.
