This module provides you with the opportunity to develop your creative writing in a supportive and nurturing environment. You’ll meet regularly with your fellow writers and your tutor to discuss your own original work, and in turn you’ll give your feedback on others’ writing. This workshop also invites you to think about how important ideas such as Feminism and Postmodernism, for example, might influence and inform our creative practice. You’ll be asking big questions about yourself and your writing: why do you write? How do you write? What do you want to achieve in your next piece of writing?

This course can be studied alone or as part of the MA Creative Writing.
