This module will explore:
- Advanced assessment and differential diagnosis of complex upper limb disorders
- Pathology of complex upper limb problems in relation to patient management
- Principles of conservative and surgical treatment of patients with upper limb dysfunction
- Preoperative, intra-operative and post-operative management of the upper limb surgery
- Diagnostic investigations of the upper limb disorders including X-rays and MRI/bone scan, arthrography/arthroscopy and musculoskeletal ultrasound
- Sports injury management applied to the upper limb
- Conservative and operative management of muscle and tendon injuries
- Rehabilitation strategies of the upper limb
- Upper limb work-related hand disorders
- Holistic assessment and management of patients with upper limb disorders
