Tourism is now one of the largest industries in the world and educating responsible managers is a key focus of our tourism courses. Tourism development in harmony with the environment is a core theme. You will have the opportunity to discover more about the local region, as well as other regions, through the modules on this course.
You can also choose to study a language at any level of the programme. German, French, Italian and Spanish are popular options but other languages are available. Exchanges with educational partners in Spain and France are available for those with good linguistic abilities.
You can spend up to a year studying at Thompson Rivers University in British Columbia, Canada or studying at one of our partner institutions across Europe, including destinations such as Vichy, France, and Tampere and Helsinki, Finland, all of which offer taught programmes in English.
In addition you can study a language for credit via the University-wide language course and can choose to study Finnish on the Languages For All course, to prepare for an international exchange.
