  • You may also be able to access this course through the University's AP(E)L system by providing evidence of prior experience and learning
  • You will need one years experience in an appropriate area of practice/work

This course is aimed at anyone working in a health and social care setting. If you are involved with people diagnosed with a personality disorder or using cognitive behavioural therapy with a variety of clients, this course is designed to improve your care standards and develop your skills and confidence.

Applicant profile

Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds and different career paths and you don’t need previous professional training to apply.

We positively welcome applications from students who may not meet the stated entry criteria but who can demonstrate their ability to successfully pursue a programme of study in higher education. Students who do not have formal entry qualifications are required to sit a written assessment which is designed for this purpose.
