Teaching takes place in weekly, two-hour sessions, which are a mix of short lectures, seminar discussion and short unassessed student presentations. Additional personal supervision is provided throughout the module.
Assessment
- Essay 1, 3,500 words (50%)
- Essay 2, 3,500 words (50%)
You may answer one of the set questions, devise your own question in consultation with the module convenor, or write a creative piece responding to one or more of the theoretical texts we have studied. You may also write a hybrid piece that combines the critical and creative.
