Elisa Sferruzza
Elisa is from Volterra in Italy and has successfully passed the Summer English Study Programme (SESP) and progressed onto undergraduate studies in Translation and Interpreting. Her ambition is to become a translator either in the UK or Italy.
“I chose Salford because of the high standards of education and because it is renowned for teaching Translation and Interpreting. On the SESP I improved my English, studying in a nice environment. The course was useful for Academic English and I particularly liked projects and presentations. I think that what I have learnt will help me get a better job. I feel a bit more confident - I’m a little more independent and can look after myself. The best thing about studying at Salford is the new friends you make from different cultures.”
