Open University Open University qualifications will be considered on an individual basis
GCSE All applicants must have English and Maths of at least Grade C, or Level 2 equivalents e.g. Key Skills L2 Literacy and/or Numeracy
UCAS tariff points 300 points
Scottish Highers 300 points
Irish Leaving Certificate 300 points
International Baccalaureate 27 points

English Language Requirements

International applicants will be required to show a proficiency in English. An IELTS score of 7.0 with no score below 7.0.

Acceptance on the course is also subject to satisfactory health and Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) clearance.

We positively welcome applications from students who may not meet the stated entry criteria but who can demonstrate their ability to successfully pursue a programme of study in higher education. Students who do not have the traditional entry requirements may be able to apply through the Salford Alternative Entry Scheme. In the first instance you should discuss this will the relevant Admissions Tutor.
