If you wish to pursue a career as a social worker, then this professional degree is the nationally recognised qualification, validated by the General Social Care Council (GSCC). This course also involves input from service users and carers, including the Citizens as Trainers (CATS) group and external social work practitioners.

Course details

This course is designed to educate and prepare you for your future career as a registered social worker. As a qualified social worker you will be required to investigate, analyse and evaluate new methods and new philosophies, as well as be able to respond to needs in a flexible and imaginative way.

The integrated teaching style is intended as a preparation for your future career in social work. We aim to inform, encourage, support and engage students, tutors and practice teachers in collaborative learning.
