Entrants must be appropriately qualified practitioners. Graduate healthcare professionals with a minimum degree classification of 2:1 may apply directly.
Appropriately experienced applicants who do not meet the above requirements will be considered in line with the University’s APL procedure.
Evidence of access to a relevant clinical caseload and the support of a suitably trained clinical mentor. You must have the agreement of the service manager and clinical mentor to facilitate your access to this caseload.

Accreditation for Prior Experiential Learning (APEL)
We welcome applications from students who may not have formal/traditional entry criteria but who have relevant experience or the ability to pursue the course successfully.
The Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) process could help you to make your work and life experience count. The APL process can be used for entry onto courses or to give you exemptions from parts of your course.
Two forms of APL may be used for entry: the Accreditation of Prior Certificated Learning (APCL) or the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL).
English Language Requirements
Students whose first language is not English will be required to demonstrate proficiency in English – IELTS – a minimum overall score of 6.5 in any component is required with no element below 6.

This module is for radiographers and other health care professionals, including medical and nursing staff, who wish to forge a career in the field of screening and diagnosis.
Because this is a clinically related module, you must have access to a relevant clinical caseload as detailed in the entry requirements.
