Work experience You will normally require two years post-qualification experience

English Language Requirements

International applicants will be required to show a proficiency in English. An IELTS score of 6.0 (no element below 5.5) is proof of this.

Applicant profile

Qualified social workers who are registered with the GSCC and hold a Diploma in Higher Education (DipSW, CQSW, CSS or recognised equivalent qualification)

You will have been in a social work post working with adults for at least two years since qualifying.  You will need the support of your employer to be able to use practice examples in your assignments and to appoint a practice assessor to support you through the course.

Students who do not have the traditional entry requirements may be able to apply through the Salford Alternative Entry Scheme.
