MA Digital Production for TV and Film: Post Production

Candidates should have a good honours first degree, at 2:2 or above, covering relevant background to the course and be able to demonstrate a high level of familiarity with a range of production and post production techniques. It is anticipated that this shall be demonstrable via a show reel or portfolio.

Accreditation for Prior Experiential Learning (APEL)

We welcome applications from students who may not have formal/traditional entry criteria but who have relevant experience or the ability to pursue the course successfully.

The Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) process could help you to make your work and life experience count. The APL process can be used for entry onto courses or to give you exemptions from parts of your course.

Two forms of APL may be used for entry: the Accreditation of Prior Certificated Learning (APCL) or the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL).

English Language Requirements

International applicants will be required to show a proficiency in English. An IELTS score of 6.5 (with no less than 5.5 in any band) as proof of this.

Suitable For

This course is intended for existing media practitioners and students. It is also particularity relevant for those who wish to expand their media knowledge in the area of post production and current media practices. This MA will also provide a direct path for student progression from a number of the School's existing undergraduate courses.

Your individual agenda for study and personal choice of media/disciplines will be actively encouraged, selected from the range of practices within the field of post production.
