A bachelor’s degree with honours from a UK university (normally a 2:1) or equivalent academic or professional qualification.

Accreditation for Prior Experiential Learning (APEL)

APL is available but must cover both theory and practice.

We welcome applications from students who may not have formal/traditional entry criteria but who have relevant experience or the ability to pursue the course successfully.

The Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) process could help you to make your work and life experience count. The APL process can be used for entry onto courses or to give you exemptions from parts of your course.

Two forms of APL may be used for entry: the Accreditation of Prior Certificated Learning (APCL) or the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL).

English Language Requirements

English Language - IELTS Minimum score 7- with no individual component below 7

Graduates from any discipline who are interested in developing the knowledge and practical skills to practice as a nurse.

Applicant profile

There is no such thing as a typical student on this course, except a desire to explore critically the art and science of nursing and to deliver first class care. The selection process is via application, group and personal interviews, numeracy and literacy tests.
