MRes/PgDip/PgCert Music

Graduates of this course will be in a position to take up posts in the Music sector which require them to possess high level research and practice and project design and delivery skills, accompanied by specialist high level subject knowledge of a chosen aspect of Music. Graduates of the MRes in Music are also ideally placed to go on to further study through undertaking a PhD degree on either a part-time or a full-time basis.

Further Study

The MRes (Music) at Salford provides the perfect grounding to undertake a postgraduate degree by research at MPhil (two years full-time) or PhD level (three years full time). This could occur in any field of Music. The Salford Music Research Centre contains a range of internationally leading academics able to supervise research degrees in their broad field.
