Midwifery (156 weeks)
3 good reasons to study Midwifery at Salford:

- Designed to prepare you to practice autonomously, as a registered midwife
- Receive support from tutors who are qualified midwives
Midwives offer care and support to pregnant women, their partners and their families. They provide care throughout the pregnancy continuum which includes antenatal, intra partum and post partum care. A key component of the course is problem-based learning (PBL) where you will be actively involved in the learning process through problem solving, investigation, team work and self directed learning. These skills are also developed through the small caseload experience within the course
