BA (Hons) Linguistics

The School’s Language Resource Centre offers a wide range of audio-visual and IT facilities. It also provides a high-speed network environment giving access to advanced software packages used by students for a range of purposes (e.g. blended learning; language learning). Our students also have access to a number of computerised language collections (i.e. electronic corpora).  

There are four library sites at Clifford Whitworth Building, Adelphi Building, Allerton Building and MediaCityUK. Over 900 computers are available at PC suites and libraries across the University. The PC suite in Clifford Whitworth Building is open 24/7.
