BTEC National Diploma DMM Note that BTEC National Diplomas are vocational qualifications. The LLB is an academic course of study with a high degree of theoretical content and represents a step up from the academic demands made of students at A level. We need to be satisfied that students are sufficiently prepared to cope with the demands the degree will make. If you are seeking entry with a BTEC Diploma then we need to be satisfied that the Diploma has sufficient academic content and is in a relevant subject.

Applicant profile

Any student wishing to embark on legal study must be prepared to read, digest and critically analyse their own and others' work. Law is an academic degree and involves a lot of self directed study and research. Applicants will be expected to be up-to-date with news and enjoy reading, debating and developing their own arguments.
