Exploring the Complexities of Managing and Leading in an International Hospital and Health Services Context (30 credits)
You will be able to explore the social, political and historical factors shaping international hospital and health service provision and your organisation and the context within which you work. Areas covered include "what is leadership?" as well as theories of leadership and management including governance, strategic management and stakeholder engagement.

Understand yourself as a leader and improve your personal leadership knowledge, skills and qualities. Examine some of the key concepts and problems associated with the management of behaviour in international hospital and health service organisations. This module covers areas such as leadership and management approaches, narrative analysis, emotional intelligence and effective leadership.
