In response to the fast developing global media market, this course lets you explore how journalism and related communication methods work around the world, how people access, think about, and value journalism today, and social media’s impact on communities and governments through citizen and networked journalism.
Taught at our state of the art facilities at MediaCityUK and available on either a full-time or a part-time basis, the MA International and Online Journalism combines theory and practice, allowing you to develop your own journalistic expertise with live briefs, industry work experience and the chance to work on Salford University’s own Quays TV shows and website.

For the full MA International and Online Journalism you will take two core 30-credit modules in Semester 1, one 30-credit core and one elective module in Semester 2, and you will complete your final major project in Semester 3.
