This course provides you with the opportunity to develop a systematic understanding of the importance of information systems and technology (IS/T) in local and global businesses and in society in general; and a critical awareness of current and emerging issues in the management of IS/T.

In addition to the expertise of academics, you will also learn from a range of external speakers noted for their specialist knowledge.  There is a strong emphasis in the course on the value of debate, critique and interaction with fellow students and staff.

On completion of this course you will have the skills to become an effective IS/T manager capable of critical reflection of your practice and that of others, and with an understanding of the strategic importance and context of IT within organisations.
