A career in hospitality management offers opportunities all over the world. This degree prepares you by covering food and beverage management, accommodation management, food science and business studies. You can develop technical knowledge and skills within our excellent facilities, which include production kitchens, a training restaurant and specialist food laboratories.
This course seeks to develop communication, IT, numeracy and team building skills. It meets the educational requirement towards a grade of Hotel and Catering International Management Association membership.
Overseas study is available and you can spend up to a year studying at Thompson Rivers University in British Columbia, Canada or studying at one of our partner institutions across Europe, including destinations such as Vichy, France, and Tampere and Helsinki, Finland, all of which offer taught courses in English.
In addition you can study a language for credit via the University-wide language course and can choose to study Finnish on the Languages For All course, to prepare for an international exchange.
