Each week 13,000 recruits, 3,000 at supervisory level, are needed in the food, drink or accommodation industry. This course prepares you for employment within these areas through combined hospitality and tourism modules and leisure options.

You will also gain practical and vocational experience in our excellent facilities. This qualification meets the education requirement for membership of the Hotel and Catering International Management Association.

Overseas study is available and you can spend up to a year studying at Thompson Rivers University in British Columbia, Canada or studying at one of our partner institutions across Europe, including destinations such as Vichy, France, and Tampere and Helsinki, Finland, all of which offer taught programmes in English.

In addition you can study a language for credit via the University-wide language course and can choose to study Finnish on the Languages For All course, to prepare for an international exchange.
