SHA-SLA Funded applications
Students from Trusts in the Greater Manchester area can obtain funding for CPD through the SHA or your Trust.
What you need to do
- First talk to your manager to identify a CPD study need in line with your personal development plan and the NHS Knowledge and Skills Framework
- You will then need to make an application to your Trust for CPD funding, using the appropriate Trust form and following local procedures
- Once the Trust CPD signatory has approved your request, the trust will also discuss and agree expectations concerning your communication responsibilities (for example, explain any non-attendance/non-enrolment on the course) and establish a date for review
